Learn about our mission, vision, history, and the team behind GACOA.
GACOA is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) operating in Bugiri District, Uganda. We were founded by dedicated residents of Kiyinikibi East Cell with a shared vision of "Giving Hope, Transforming Lives."
Our organization is built on the belief that vulnerable communities, when empowered with the right resources and opportunities, can drive their own development and create lasting change.
We work across multiple sectors including education, health, economic empowerment, child protection, and community development to create holistic and sustainable impact.
To build a self-reliant, empowered, and prosperous community where vulnerable populations are afforded equitable opportunities to achieve their full potential.
To transform lives through the delivery of sustainable, community-driven initiatives in education, health, and economic empowerment, whilst advocating for the fundamental rights of marginalized groups.
